Did you go straight into your Apprenticeship from school?
No, I attended college to study a BTEC in Creative Media Production for two years.

Why did you choose to do an Apprenticeship?
Because it is a great way to learn and earn money at the same time, you get the best of both worlds.

How did you find out about your Apprenticeship?
I found about it online.

What have you gained from your Apprenticeship – skills, experience etc?
I have gained communication skills, confidence and lots of experience.

What do you plan to do next?
I will probably stay on with my company for another year, before finding another job and working my way up in another media company.

How will your Apprenticeship help you achieve this?
It will give me the confidence and experience I need to achieve this.

What advice would you give a young person who might be thinking about an Apprenticeship?
It is a great option if you are uncertain about going to University; it is a fantastic way to meet people and get a qualification at the end of your apprenticeship. You can then stay on in the company or work your way up in another.
